Villa Gemse is a spacious, well-insulated semidetached holiday chalet, suitable for up to 6 people. At the rear of the house, you will find a large balcony-covered terrace, fully equipped for outside dining (including a barbecue), as well as a big lawn wonderful for playing.
The villa lies in a quiet neighborhood with similar villas, so odds are that your children will make some friends. Kötschach-Mauthen’s center with its stores, restaurants and Stubes is within walking distance, and the village has a few supermarkets.
Inside, the holiday home is finished to a detail, and tastefully decorated. Equipped with a cosy wood stove and ample wood supply, a luxurious kitchen and satellite TV.
Are you with more than 6 people? You can also rent our other holiday chalet, Villa Steinbock, the other half of the semidetached villa. This will give you enough room for 12 people.
Carinthia and the Gail valley
In the vicinity of Kötschach-Mauthen there is a plethora of things to do! First and foremost, the area offers wonderful winter sports options, such as skiing, snowboarding, etc. In spring, summer and fall, there are countless walking, hiking and cycling routes, you can visit any of the beautiful mountain lakes with their abundance of water sports possibilities. Kötschach-Mauthen also has its own swimming paradise, Aquarena (in walking distance of Villa Gemse), there is horse back riding, mining your own jewelry, a zoo, and much, much more. Carinthia has a pristinely beautiful Alp-landscape, great natural diversity. Kötschach-Mauthen lies in the stunning Gailtal, on the banks of the Gail river. The local people are very friendly, hospitable, helpful, and are quite environmentally conscious. We are positive you will come to love this place just as much as we do. Super mooi vakantiehuis. Van alle gemakken voorzien; van bbq, terrassen tot vaatwasser. Mooi uitzicht vanaf het terras. Echt een aanrader!
Compleet, luxe huis
Compleet luxe huis. Alles is aanwezig. Inclusief wasmachine/droger, strijkplank/ijzer, horren, zonneluifel, complete keukenuitrusting, lekkere boxspring bedden enz. De trap naar de vide is een ladder en dus heel stijl, dus niet voor iedereen geschikt om daar te slapen. Een groter en steviger wasrek zou fijn zijn. Met Karinthië kaart veel gedaan maar ook veel rijden, sommige dingen op half uur afstand maar meeste vanaf 1 uur rijden.
Das perfekte Chalet für uns
Das Chalet war für uns 4 Personen exakt das perfekte. Wir hatten nicht nur ausreichend getrennte Schlafzimmer, sondern auch getrennte Bäder. Die Ausstattung war insgesamt sehr hochwertig, vom Holzofen, über Weber Elektrogrill, Küche mit Komplettausstattung und Waschmaschine/Trockner. Hier war alles vorhanden. Den TV mit SAT. Und Bose Sound zum Laufen zu bringen, sowie die Fehlersuche bei nicht funktionierendem WLan war nicht so einfach.., Die Hausmappe war essentiell nur in niederländisch vorhanden, der Hausmeister mit diesem Problem überfordert. Der Technik Freak in unserer Gruppe hat mit Router Reset u.ä. zwar alles zum Laufen gebracht, aber das könnte etwas verbessert werden. Wir waren mega zufrieden, kommen sicherlich wieder, denn für eine Motorrad Gruppe ist Kötschach-Mauthen das perfekte Basecamp. Wir sind unzählige Pässe und Höhenstraße gefahren und waren in Slowenien und Italien, auch am Pressegger See. Oberhalb unseres Chalet war auch eine große Schwimmtanlage, mitFrei-und Hallenbad und guter Gastronomie. Insgesamt haben wir im Ort nur super lecker gegessen. Fünf Sterne für Ort und Unterkunft 👍✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️

Prima nieuw huisje voorzien alle gemakken. Electrische bbq en ruim voldoende haardhout en een deugdelijke geluids/tv installatie met nederlandse (!!) zenders maken het helemaal af. Enige nadeel is misschien de 30 km afstand naar ski gebied Nassfeld
